CM Kejriwal ordered to court: Must appear physically on March 16

Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi's Chief Minister, virtually appeared in court today to respond to ED's summons concerning the Delhi liquor policy case. His lawyer cited ongoing legislative responsibilities for his absence. Despite his plea for exemption, the court ordered Kejriwal to appear in person on March 16, following five previous summonses from the Enforcement Directorate.

Meanwhile, in the assembly, discussions revolved around a confidence vote motion presented by Kejriwal. He accused BJP of attempting to sway AAP MLAs with offers of Rs 25 crore and alleged arrests. Kejriwal affirmed that none of their MLAs have defected. This marks the second trust vote sought by the AAP government, which holds a significant majority in the 70-member assembly.
